From November 14 to 16, 2025, the China (Shenzhen) International Exhibition on New Technologies, New Materials, New Processes, New Equipment and New Services for Power Equipment (hereinafter referred to as The Five New Exhibition) was grandly held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. Hexafluo, a core member of Capchem, attended the event with a variety of independently developed green organic fluorine products and solutions, including environmentally friendly power insulating gas perfluoroisobutyronitrile and fluorinated cooling fluid.
Supported by the platform of the 27th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), this exhibition takes "Innovation Fusion, Striving for Excellence" as its theme, focusing on the construction of new power systems and the transformation and upgrading of power equipment. It comprehensively showcases the visualized achievements of major group companies in China's power industry in developing new quality productive forces, promoting high-quality development, and building world-class enterprises, and is committed to creating the first national-level and the only Asian "Five New" power equipment vanguard exhibition.

As a global leading producer of hexafluoropropylene oxide, Hexafluo has deeply engaged in the field of fluorinated fine chemicals for 18 years. Adhering to dedicated innovation and benefiting the world through fluorine, the company is committed to creating a better future with fluorochemicals and fluoromaterials. Guided by the "dual carbon" goals, Hexafluo practices the concept of green development, takes technological innovation as the driving force and customer needs as the orientation, accelerates the transformation of innovative achievements, and has launched a variety of green products including environmentally friendly power insulating gases, fluorinated cooling fluids, and eco-friendly fluorinated surfactants. These products provide excellent carbon reduction solutions for industries such as power and semiconductors.

On the afternoon of the 14th, Lin Denggao, Technical Manager of Hexafluo, attended the "2025 Forum on the Transformation and Upgrading of Power Transmission and Transformation Equipment & Annual Meeting of the Special Committee on Cables and Connectors" and delivered a special report titled "Research on Environmentally Friendly Insulating Gases for Power Equipment". Focusing on the technological breakthroughs and application value of environmentally friendly power insulating gases, the report elaborated on Hexafluo's independently developed perfluoroisobutyronitrile product.
As a sustainable alternative to sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), perfluoroisobutyronitrile boasts excellent insulation and arc-extinguishing performance, with application scenarios covering core power equipment such as Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Gas-Insulated Lines (GIL), and circuit breakers. Hexafluo has built the world's first kiloton-scale industrial production line for perfluoroisobutyronitrile, establishing an integrated full-chain service system encompassing "synthesis, gas mixing, testing, and waste gas recovery". The product has been mass-supplied to major domestic and foreign power equipment enterprises, and successfully applied in benchmark projects such as the world's first 550kV C4 environmentally friendly gas GIL and China's first 330kV environmentally friendly circuit breaker, winning high recognition from customers.

To build a technical exchange platform for the green transformation of the power industry and promote in-depth docking between new materials, new technologies and industrial demands, a special "Hexafluo High-End Dialogue" was set up at this year's Power Equipment "Five New" Exhibition, featuring multiple in-depth seminars focusing on core industry topics. During the high-end dialogues, Lin Denggao introduced the domestic and foreign policy orientations for energy conservation and emission reduction. Combining the industrialization practice of perfluoroisobutyronitrile, he shared Hexafluo's experience in overcoming challenges in large-scale production, further conveying the technical advantages and application prospects of perfluoroisobutyronitrile, and providing practical references for accelerating the industry's replacement of traditional materials.

At the exhibition site, the Fish Tank Model displayed at Hexafluo's booth became the center of attention. Inside the device, a mobile phone operated normally while fully submerged in the liquid in the lower layer, while goldfish swam freely in the water in the upper layer. "The liquid in the lower layer is Hexafluo's fluorinated cooling fluid," introduced the booth interpreter to the onlookers. "As a highly stable perfluorinated liquid, the fluorinated cooling fluid can isolate water and air to prevent oxidation and corrosion of components. It also features high thermal conductivity, low viscosity, high latent heat of vaporization, low Global Warming Potential (GWP), and zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP). Immersing servers or data centers in the fluorinated cooling fluid—letting them 'take a bath'—enables precise temperature control, reduces energy consumption, and lowers carbon emissions."

Looking ahead, Hexafluo will continue to drive green development through technological innovation, fulfill its mission of "creating a better future with fluorochemicals and fluoromaterials", and contribute more outstanding products and solutions to the sustainable development of the global energy industry. It will join hands with all parties to move towards a greener and better future together.
