Environmental Overview

Capchem is committed to comprehensively integrating the green environmental philosophy into every aspect of its production and operations. The Company actively addresses global climate change, vigorously promotes energy conservation and emissions reduction, continually optimizes the management of "waste gas, waste water, waste solid" and resources, practices green and low-carbon operations, and effectively fulfills its environmental protection responsibilities.

Climate Change Response

Capchem attaches great importance to climate change response and always abides by the concept of green and low-carbon development. We are committed to fully utilizing our industrial chain synergy and production base layout advantages, and continuing to implement initiatives such as optimizing energy structure, improving production efficiency, and researching, developing and providing green products and services, so as to achieve operational carbon peaking by 2029 and operational carbon neutrality by 2049.

Waste

Capchem strictly enforces the pollutant emission standards stipulated in the locations where it operates, and disposes of and manages all types of emissions and wastes generated in the course of production and operation in a compliant manner.

Water

Capchem continually improves water resource management. Through multiple measures such as process optimization, technological upgrades, and waste water recycling, The Company aims to reduce water resource consumption and enhance water resource utilization efficiency.

Climate Change Response

  • RMB 39.4443 million of environmental investment in 2023
  • Capchem has conducted carbon emission inventory and verification for eleven offices or production bases
  • Through  ECOSIP™,, which is an environmentally friendly integrated technology for the production of carbonate solvents from ethylene oxide, the project transforms carbon dioxide into green and high-tech fine chemical materials, removing approximately 19,582 tons of carbon dioxide in 2023

Waste

  • Pollutant emissions (NOx, PM, SOx, VOCs) from key discharge units below 23.5% of the relevant standard limits
  • The total recycling and reuse rate of general waste reached 7.1%

Water

  • Achieved the reuse of reclaimed water, amounting to 83,098.47 tons and the reuse rate of reclaimed water reached 28%
