Capchem Attended IMLB 2024

The 22nd International Meeting on Lithium Batteries (IMLB 2024) was held at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong on June 17-21, 2024. Capchem, as one of the sponsors of the conference, was invited to participate in the conference and set up a booth at the site. As the world's leading event in the field of lithium battery technology and applications, IMLB 2024 gathered more than 2,000 experts, researchers and company representatives from many fields, such as transportation, business, biomedical, etc., to discuss and share the latest scientific research results and industry dynamics.

During this conference, Prof. Yonghong Deng from Southern University of Science and Technology and Capchem's Chief Scientist, on behalf of Capchem delivered an important report on the key role of electrode/electrolyte interface in lithium batteries in battery chemicals.

Communicating Based on Globalization

Many customer representatives from Europe and North America attended this IMLB conference and visited Capchem's booth.Under the background of the global trend of carbon neutrality and the rapid growth of the penetration rate of new energy vehicles, Europe and the United States have become a key link in the implementation of Capchem's internationalization strategy. In Europe, Capchem Poland's lithium battery electrolyte project with a capacity of 40,000 tons/year has been put into production. And, Capchem Poland and German customers signed about 1.1 billion euros long order, agreed from 2025 to 2034 to provide customers with lithium battery electrolyte. In the U.S., Capchem intends to invest no more than 120 million U.S. dollars to build a battery chemicals production base in Ohio, and the battery chemicals project in Louisiana has recently received government investment incentives. At present, Capchem is carrying out globalized production capacity layout of lithium battery electrolyte and key materials at home and abroad. At the same time, Capchem is actively integrating the supply chain, vertically laying out new lithium salts, additives, and solvents, etc., so as to strengthen the cost competitiveness of the company's battery chemicals business and ensure stable supply.

Capchem is grateful to its global customers for their continuous support during the continuous development of the company's international business. In this meeting, Capchem's business personnel and technical experts communicated with global customers about the development of cutting-edge technology in the lithium industry and negotiated cooperation matters.Capchem is looking forward to establishing closer ties with global partners providing innovative and sustainable solutions for the global lithium battery industry, and creating a green, sustainable and bright future together.
