The Battery Show Europe 2024 was held in New Stuttgart Exhibition Center, Germany from June 18th to 20th, local time. In the field of solvents, Huizhou Capchem has completed the annual output of 150,000 tons of carbonate solvent capacity layout. In the additives, the layout of phosphorus, sulfur and carbonate and a variety of new additives, Jiangsu Hicomer annual output of 59,000 tons of lithium additives project has been put into production. At present, the company's lithium materials industry chain integration layout has been basically formed.
Deepening overseas production capacity
In the face of the huge market for electrolyte brought about by the rapid growth of the global power battery market, Capchem's globalized production capacity layout for lithium battery electrolyte and key materials has long begun. The company has accelerated the layout of overseas production capacity and continuously expanded its market share. By 2023, the company will have nine production bases for battery chemicals around the world to realize delivery guarantee.
The customer expressed great interest in Capchem's factory in Śrem, Poland.The factory has advanced production equipment and strict quality control system, and its capacity scale will provide strong localized supply support for the European market, while reducing CO2 emissions during transportation. In April 2023, Capchem Poland commissioned a 40,000-ton/year lithium battery electrolyte project, and in November 2023 Capchem Poland signed a long term order of about 1.1 billion euros with a German customer for the supply of lithium battery electrolytes from 2025 to 2034, with the aim of supplying the customer with lithium battery electrolytes in the future.
