The Greater Bay Area Science Forum-Session on Carbon Neutrality 2024 was held on November 18th in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province.Under the theme of “Low Carbon Technology Revolution for New Quality Productive Forces”, a number of experts and scholars in the field of “dual-carbon” participated in the forum and made wonderful reports, and carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on the technological innovation and layout of the field of “dual-carbon” and the industry.
On behalf of Capchem, Dr. Shiguang Hu attended the forum and delivered a keynote report entitled “High Performance Electrolyte Solutions for High Energy Density Lithium-ion Battery”.Dr. Hu emphasized that Capchem has a wealth of technical accumulation and market experience in the fields of customized electrolyte product development, advanced cell system product development, new functional materials development.Capchem's self-developed additives have the advantages of balance for the high and low temperature performance, stable and high quality, safety and environmental friendly, etc., and have been authorized by a number of patents at home and abroad. The one-stop solution is safer, more efficient, and greener, and can effectively address the common problems faced by high energy density battery systems in the industry and the traditional electrolyte additives such as poor structural stability, interfacial side reactions, unstable quality, poor environmental protection, etc., so as to empower the customers, offer suggestions for the industry, and promote the realization of dual carbon goals.Capchem and Huizhou Institute of Green Energy and Advanced Materials signed for industry-university-research cooperation, Capchem President, Dawen Zhou attended the signing ceremony.

The Greater Bay Area Science Forum-Session on Carbon Neutrality landed in Huizhou, Guangdong, in where Capchem has laid out . Capchem Huizhou realizes carbon reduction at the source through technological research, i.e., the systematic innovation of ionic liquid catalyst-reactor-process through the ECOSIPTM technology, which means that the carbon dioxide generated is converted into carbonate, the main material of lithium-ion battery electrolyte in the new energy industry, and it is expected that 100,000 tons of carbon dioxide can be consumed annually.
