During the meeting, Johnson Qin introduced Capchem’s international strategy to Jane. Qin stated that the Chinese manufacturing industry continues to accelerate the overseas layout, with the aim of realizing the global coordinated development of the industrial chain and the supply chain. In the context of a global trend of carbon neutrality and the rapid growth in the penetration rate of new energy vehicles (NEVs), Europe and the United States have become a key link of Capchem to carry out its international strategy. Capchem Poland has officially put into production and become the largest lithium battery electrolyte producer in Europe. Capchem also made an investment no more than USD120 million before and built a battery chemicals production base in the United States. Qin expressed his gratitude to Citi for the support it has been giving to Capchem during the continuous development of Capchem’s international business.

Jane Fraser praised Capchem's achievements in going global, and had an in-depth discussion with Qin on the global economy and Sino-US trade development, and gave a comprehensive introduction to Citi's business and service changes. Jane said that Citi is one of the most professional companies in the world in financial services and is willing to be the best partner for international companies and provide more support for Chinese companies’ cross-border business.

By living up to expectations of global partners, Capchem will accelerate its capacity layout and market development at abroad, and promote further development of the global new energy industry.
