On April 16, 2021, the signing ceremony for donation of the Capchem Scholarship Fund was grandly held at the Conference Center of Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech).

Over the past years, Capchem has established a joint laboratory with SUSTech and has signed a contract to become an internship base for undergraduates of the university. Capchem donated 2 million yuan to Southern University of Science and Technology to establish two scholarships: Capchem Innovation Scholarship and Capchem Leadership Scholarship. The former is open to undergraduates and graduate students in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, and rewards outstanding students with innovative spirit. The latter is open to all undergraduates, postgraduates and students of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Southern University of Science and Technology, and rewards outstanding students with excellent leadership skills.

At the signing ceremony for donation, Mr. QIN Jiusan, Chairman of Capchem, delivered a speech on behalf of the company. He said that Capchem has achieved rapid development in the booming city of Shenzhen. Capchem is currently among top companies in China and has achieved a leading position in the world in industries and segments in which it operates. So it should assume more social responsibilities. Chairman Qin deeply felt that China has a long way to go in basic research and talent training. According to him, the company should give attention to long-term development and talent training while seeking to achieve good performance and solve market problems. He was gratified to see that Shenzhen has been going from strength to strength. Chairman Qin hoped students in SUSTech can explore their interests, enjoy campus life, and study hard to realize their dreams and the Chinese Dream. He wished all the students to achieve remarkable results in scientific research or develop their leadership skills by leveraging resources of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to lay a foundation for management or entrepreneurship in the future.
